John Elway's agent's death ruled by chance, say officials

Jeff Sperbeck, the long -time agent, business partner and friend of John Elway, died after he was involved in a serious crash with a golf car. Sperbeck was 62.

Elway, a former quarterback from Denver Broncos, reports that the motorized vehicle drove at the time of the fatal accident.

The Coroner of Riverside County (California) confirmed that Sperbeck died on April 30 at the Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. The injury was in the nearby La Quinta four days earlier.

On Friday, the forensic doctor Sperbeck's office decided and said he died of the consequences of a blunt head trauma. “The cause of death is 'blunt head trauma' and the type of death is 'accident',” said the forensic doctor in the declaration of the Denver Post.

The explanation added that the injury occurred when the passenger fell out of the golf car.

Last week the Sheriff Chad Bianco in Riverside County made it clear that the investigators had found “nothing” to suggest that criminal activities had taken place during the incident. “This seems to be a terrible accident,” Bianco told the post office and noticed that “a couple” of the people involved in the incident are very top -class celebrities, “Bianco told Denver Post.

“And that makes it more of a problem than it should be,” said Bianco at the time and noted that his department had received a “massive media examination” after the news was broken. “We do everything we can to ensure that it is what it seems to be and only an accident,” he added.

Elway published an explanation on April 30 and said that he had remained “with a broken heart”.

“I am absolutely destroyed and with broken heart due to the death of my close friend, business partner and agents Jeff Sperbeck,” said Elway in an explanation about ESPN. “There are no words to really express the profound sadness that I feel with the sudden loss of someone who means so much to me.”

Elway won two Super Bowls with the Broncos and was included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
