Mariner's GM Justin Hollander offers injury updates before the current home state

Justin Hollander met with the media as is a tradition at the beginning of a homeste. Here is a summary where the injured Mariners are currently. Fortunately, progress can be seen in all areas after a particularly brutal start to the season.

MLB updates:

  • Trent Thornton (Blinddarization): Fortunately, the Mariner Thornton's symptoms were able to catch symptoms in good time after he hadn't felt good for a few days. He had an emergency attachment operation and already feels better. It is on the 15-day IL and although it shouldn't be too much, it should be at least 15 days and possibly more 20-30. Troy Taylor was called back from Tacoma to take his place.
  • Luke Raley (Strabed Shiak): Raley stays with the team above this home level, which carries out light baseball activities. He was in the field in front of the game and ran around. When the team goes on the way for his next road trip, Raley will go to Arizona to improve his rehab. Raley had a “really positive in the past few days” and begins to feel better and “progress”.
  • Logan Gilbert (Ellbogen/Flexor -Bündelstamm): Gilbert continues to make progress in his throwing program and could throw a bullpen or simply throw a hill as soon as the end of this home level.
  • George Kirby (Employed shoulder): Kirby will start for Tacoma tomorrow. He will start another rehab at least in regular rest, and then the team will judge whether it is ready to be activated from there.
  • Jackson Kowar (Ucl reconstruction): Kowar will also take part in the Rainiers this weekend. He will be in Tacoma, who regularly appears from the Bullpen by the end of May. At that time the team will be rated again. While he is not yet on the 40 man, help Trevor God (UCL) also competes in Tacomas Bullpen.
  • Victor Robles (Shoulder fracture): Robles get a CT scan in the six-week brand to ensure that everything continues to heal well. So far, reports have been good.
  • Gregory Santos (Knee) had his operation to “clean up” problems in his knee; The team speaks over the all-star break as a possible return date.
  • Tayler Saucedo (Lat): New injury warning. Saucedo is located with a tense Lat on the Milb IL in Tacoma. I will be down for a few weeks and as soon as the injury had time to calm down, he will be raised again. Hollander does not believe that Sauckedo's injury is serious, but it will require that he is a bit depressed.
  • Matt Brash (TJ) did not report any pain because he was played in games again. The team will initially avoid him in two consecutive excursions.

Minor League updates:

  • RHP Taylor Dollard (a Litani of things) recently threw two innings into the ACL. He should throw at least two more, and then the team will decide which partner they will send to in the middle or end of May, since Dollard has not taken up for about two years while he has dealt with injuries. We are pleased that Dollard will again reach a competitive hill and wish him all the best.
  • RHP Zach Pop, like God, should also be taken into Tacomas Bullpen in the low season towards the end of this month.
  • RHP Teddy McGraw, another of the frequent planes in the training room, has returned to throw and could hopefully take part in a partner at the end of this month.
