Children heard puppies killed with a hammer from Mama's friend who hid in the Erie County River: Sheriff

Milan Township, Ohio (Woio) – Two children who lived in sight in a “regrettable” house with drugs are disturbed after he had to kill her mother's living friend with a hammer, confirmed the office of the Sheriff of the district of Erie County.

“It is disgusting. It is absolutely disgusting,” said the sheriff of Erie County, Paul Sigsworth.

The man tried to run away, but, according to Ecso, hid in the river behind the house and held onto a tree branch.

Ecso and court files show that this disruptive incident was brought to probation only a few hours after her mother was probed because a glass tube with a large amount of a crystallized substance was found in her handbag during a traffic stop with her boyfriend behind the cycling without a driver's license.

Shake

The MPs were sent to the 2600 block of the Alpine Trail in Milan Township on Monday evening, May 5, ECSO said.

The caller informed Dispatch that he had met a man with at least one puppy and a rush of screams of family members, “said Ecso.

According to ECSO, the MPs came to find a child outside the house “extremely disturbed”.

The girl said her mother's living mother killed her puppy and ran away from the house, explained Ecso.

19 News learned that the name of the puppy was Hank.

ECSO identified the 46-year-old Jimmy R. Wiggins as stepfather and 42-year-old Gretchen L. Howard as a mother.

According to Ecso, Wiggins had lived there for about five months.

“Uninhabitable” & “incomprehensible”

Additional MPs arrived on site and saw that the house was “in complete disorder, rugged heavily for animal feces/urine and was basically uninhabitable due to the unfortunate conditions,” said ECSO.

The mother came from a room and began to speak “mostly incomprehensible” with MPs on site, explained Ecso, which means that it is impossible to understand.

Ecso said the MPs told her that she should get out of the house several times before complaining.

The MPs protected the house to try to find Wiggins, said Ecso, but found “an influx of narcotics, in particular methamphetamine and/or utensils/instruments in the view”, which were all later confiscated as evidence.

Mother arrested

Ecso explained that the MPs discovered a credited door to the bedroom and the chest of drawers moved from the wall with which Wiggins were clearly shown.

The MPs believed that howard could escape until Wiggins could escape.

Howard confirmed that they had two pit bulls on the red nose, but were not able or not willing to provide MPs further information about the incident, Ecso said.

According to ECSO, however, the MPs could only find one of the dogs.

19 news learned that the other dog is called Mud.

Ecso confirmed that she was arrested and brought to prison.

Crime scene

Note from the publisher: The description of the incident of the following MPs is annoying. Discretion recommended.

Ecso said both children said Wiggins claimed that he would suffocate the Hank.

According to Ecso, they heard Hank cry shortly before a “impact”.

“What was one of the children described was that Jimmy threatened to strangle Hank, and then he heard how Hank would scream, how a puppy would scream, and they heard an effect,” said Sigsworth.

The children said they had recently seen dead in the bathroom, Ecso said, but the MPs saw that he was no longer there.

According to ECSO, however, the MPs found a bloody hammer on the floor and caught it as evidence.

“The puppy was gone when the MPs came in, but the hammer was still there,” said Sigsworth.

One of the children told the MPs that Wiggins had washed the blood off his hands with a bottle of peroxide, which, according to ECSO, was also found on the sink.

Where is Wiggins?

According to ECSO, the MPs immediately searched in the surrounding areas to find Wiggins.

They discovered footprints in the grass covered by Dew and believed that he ran into the forest behind his house, said Ecso.

The MPs followed the footprints, which, according to ECSO, led to a waterway and stopped on a waterway.

A few MPs then heard the sound of sticks and twigs and suddenly splashes, said Ecso.

ECSO then sent an aircraft drone when the Milan Township fire brigade came on site to find or save Wiggins.

An extensive search led the first aiders to avoid what was partly in the water in addition to a nearby embankment of the discovery, such as ECSO.

The MPs joined, found Wiggins in the water that adhered to tree roots and took it into custody, explained Ecso.

MTFD and North Central Ems gave him medical treatment and brought him to the Fisher-Titus Medical Center, said Ecso.

Wiggins were later released and brought to prison, according to Ecso.

Ecso said he had the knowledge of a second dog.

The children

Erie County called Job and Family Services to help the children as a deputy to take custody for them, said ECSO.

ECSO confirmed precautions that the children were permanently put into the care of EUJFS.

North Central Ems brought the children to the Fisher Titus Medical Center for further precautionary measures for medical care, explained ECSO.

The puppies

Ecso confirmed that the MPs had never found Hank's body.

“The poor puppy he killed, we never found the body of this puppy,” says Sheriff Sigsworth.

However, Ecso assured that mud was already moved to a loving home.

Early this week

19 news learned that this was not the only incident of the couple in narcotics and law enforcement authorities within the week.

Wiggins was with Howard in the passenger seat behind the wheel of a Chevrolet TK 2009 when a Sheriff office of an Erie County carried out a traffic stop at the weekend, said ECSO.

When the MP asked why they entered the Mason Road near the River Road in the Norfolk Southern Railroad Rail, they said they had “pile”, Ecso said.

“It should be noted that the couple sweated by 50 degrees despite outside temperatures,” the deputy reported.

The couple denied to have illegal narcotics, Ecso said, but Wiggins admitted that he had no valid driver's license.

Howard admitted that she knew that Wiggins had no valid license, but claimed that he “would not go far,” said Ecso.

A search for the car discovered a glass tube with a “large amount of a crystallized substance” in Howard's wallet, said Ecso, which was confiscated as evidence.

Ecso said Howard's car was then towed because he had Wiggins drive without valid license.

Fees for this incident

According to ECSO, Norfolk Southern was informed about the incident and requested that the couple were charged for violation for violation.

Ecso said Gretchen Howard was charged:

  • Criminal police – offense first degree
  • Confessing the wrong confidence in the motor vehicle

At the time of this weekend, Howard did not show any previous medication -related convictions, so that the crime was not escalated, explained ECSO.

Howard was charged for this incident on the morning of May 5th before the Municipal Court erie, on the same day on which the puppy was killed, showed records.

It was found to be guilty and, according to court files, took an additional 200 US dollars for the registration fees of 200 US dollars and a trial period of $ 100.

Court files also showed that judge Carl Kamm sentenced her to 30 days in prison and was suspended for 30 days and was put on probation for a year.

Ecso said Jimmy Wiggins had been charged:

  • Criminal police – offense first degree
  • No operating license

Wiggins should be charged on May 12th at 9 a.m. in front of Erie County's municipal court.

The criminal offense was increased to an offense due to the incident on railroad ownership, ECSO said.

According to ECSO, additional fees are eliminated from a chemical analysis.
