Emily Damari shares over her time in captivity in a new video – Israel News

Moments before the beginning of the memory day of Israel published Emily Damari, a former Hamas -Geisel, a video in which she shared a testimony about her time in captivity.

In the video, Damari told her and colleague Romi Gonen, while they were kept by Hamas, realized that the day had marked the day of commemoration a year ago. Despite the unimaginable conditions with which they were confronted, the two women managed to recognize the importance of the date and decided to mark it in their own way.

“Incredibly difficult days for me,” said Damari

“These are incredibly difficult days for me,” said Damari and thought about her return. “Today marked 100 days since I came home. No day passes that gali and civy are not in my thoughts. I speak to you, I pray for you – everything I can do, I do for you.”

She continued to describe the moment when she understood and gone the date: “A year ago we somehow gathered from Al Jazera that it was a day of remembrance. Romi and I decided that we just stood for a minute at 11 a.m. and let everyone remember. We let ourselves feel the pain.

Damari came to the conclusion by asking the public to remember the fallen and stand with bereaved.

“It is important that we all remember our heads that we are there for the bereaved and that we remain united. This is most important. I love all of you. Thank you for your support. We see better days with God's help.”
