Oxford – it won't count in the record books, but Ole Miss Basketball played well on Sunday.

The rebels defeated Illinois 91-74 in a charity exhibition game in Sandy and John Black Pavilion. It was a powerful matchup. Both Ole Miss (No. 25) and Illinois (No. 24) were classified in the U.S. Today Coaches survey.

The junior striker Malik dia led Ole Miss with 20 points. Senior striker Jaemyn Brakefield added 15.
