Injury report: Quinten Post, Gary Payton II questionable for Friday vs. Trail Blazers

In the last two games, the Golden State Warriors were in the rotation due to injuries without a few keys. Both Quinten Post and Gary Payton II were exposed to Golden State's Games against the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs.

After two games in a row, both post and Payton IIS status for the competition on Friday in Portland are questioned. Post (illness) and Payton II (inflammation of the right knee) will be listed as questionable against the trail blazers on Friday.

While the Warriors have to do with two injuries, the Trail Blazer have a long injury report with several important players. Shaedon Sharpe (degree of pain of the right knee) is classified as questionable, and Deni Avdija (right thumbs) is listed as doubtful with Deandre Ayton (Kalb), Jerami Grant (knee), Scoot Henderson (Concussion Protocol) and Steree Simons (Forearm), all of which are excluded.

If mail cannot go, the Warriors will continue to lean on a front court on which Kevon Looney and Trayce Jackson-Davis can be seen next to Draymond Green. If Payton II continues to fail, Steve Kerr could continue to rely on Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield from the bank.

The Warriors will meet the Trail Blazers on Friday evening at 7 p.m. PT in the Moda Center in Portland.
