The President of College, who was put down by the daughter's graduates in delightful video

The President of Clemson University, Jim Clements, experienced the end of a life when his youngest daughter happily (and accidentally) knocked him down when he accepted her diploma.

On Thursday, May 8th, the school saw the students in the Clemsonlife program enrolled – a program for students with intellectual disabilities – the stage.

When Grace Clements received the diploma that she earned at South Carolina University, she jumped into her father's arms, both fell over while she was still beaming proudly.

“Clemsonlife teaches independence, professional skills … and apparently how to detoxify a university president,” said the official Clemson President Instagram account.

The hashtags “#daddown #bestgraduationever #amazinggrace” were added to the post office.

“Is there a border how often you can see a video?! This is the most amazing grace/dad (also known as prescements) that I have ever seen! It will go under in the history of Clemson. Congratulations, grace! God bless you, mom and dad! God is good.

Another wrote: “That's why I love my school. It was a father/daughter, not her and the president. Such a sweet moment. I love how he went with it and how proud he is!”

After the video had become viral, Clements said today: “She went the stage and I hit the lawn. I wouldn't change anything. It was pure joy.”

According to the Clemson University's website, the ClemsonLife program “Young men and women with intellectual disabilities for competitive employment and an independent life through a combination of academic course work and career exploration prepares.”

It should help “students who want a post-notary experience on a college campus. Our program includes functional academics, independent livelihood, employment and social/leisure skills in a public university with the aim of producing self-sufficient young adults”.

In an explanation TodayThe university said: “With all of our Clemson students, the end is a new beginning, and when Grace hugs her father – our university president – the moment of amusement that felt the next chapter of their lives from each of our 5,270 new Clemson alumen.”
