Tolmen says that although she was happy to see and support so many people, she did not surprise her.

It adds that this is exactly the kind of community that is the new prairie when people are in need.

“This was my experience with life in this community that we support each other. This is nothing new, but this is an unusual situation, I think it has gained more support from the community,” said Tolmen.

An ongoing message throughout the entire vigil was not to lose hope and the athlete to further increase the school and the community, they will return even more from this tragedy.

This hope is something that Tolmen says is not right now, but always needed.

“If we give up hope, it is like having to give in and let go. And we not only have to have hope, we have to convey hope to all injured,” said Tolmen.
