1 person dead, 1 seriously injured in the 3-vehicle accident in Crow Wing County

One person died and another was seriously injured in an accident with three vehicles, in which a trough tipper in Crow Wing County was involved on Friday morning.

According to the Sheriff's office, it shows that the crash in Manhattan Beach mainly affected the trough tipper to the north on County Road 1, and an SUV that came from County Road 1 from the south of County Road 66. The 18-year-old driver of the SUV, who were involved in the initial collision, were carried out life-saving measures, but despite the efforts, the person was declared dead at the scene. The passenger of the same SUV was flown out of the scene in a critical condition.

A back passenger was brought to a local hospital by a private party with injuries, which is believed to be not life -threatening. The driver of the dump truck left the scene with her employer.
