Pfl-Europe: Sammy-Jo Lucxtenon to debut life-threatening sepsis after the recovery of life-threatening

After she was briefly switched to boxing, she later moved to Manchester and the world of MMA, in which she is now training full -time.

After winning the first two fights of their professional career – with their last victory in March 2024 – Luxeton signed a contract with the plant.

Since Luxeton needed an emergency operation at the same time, she ended up in a hospital bed in the station below him.

“When my father died, I thought I would do this plant tournament and then put on my gloves – I can't go on now,” recalls Luxeton.

“But he would roll in his grave if I didn't go on. He spent hours everywhere, he prepared my meals, helped me cut weight – he would have done all of this for free.

“I will do it now because of his legacy.”

When Luxerton returned to training, she felt tired than usual, but the tiredness in a “hard fighting camp”.

However, Luxon's condition had deteriorated in two weeks and she was in pain in the gym while she was cheeky, sweating and uncontrolled.

Lucxton's partner covered her in blankets before taking her to the hospital, where her body temperature rose to 42 ° C in a “life or death situation”.

“My body was completely shut down, everything was a blurring at that time,” she says.

“My year completely wiped it out, so it was about building my strength slowly but surely.

“I took this to spend time with my friends and family and make myself better mentally and physically.”
