Lamont Butler receives the NBA G League Elite Camp Invitation

When Mark Pope starts ending his offseason to assemble a squad for the next season, some of his former wildcats in Kentucky want to scratch an NBA squad this autumn and steal them on a squad.

The names of 45 invitations for the Elite Camp of 2025 G League were recently published and Amari Williams and Jaland Lowe were both listed.

Changes were made on Monday evening after Lamont Butler received an invitation after several prospects were rejected.

Butler played as healthy at the elite level and established itself as one of the nation's best veteran guards. Unfortunately, despite his warriors-like efforts, injuries escaped his last season of Collegiate basketball.

Anyone who followed Kentucky Hoops developed a respect for Lamont Butler and his willingness to sacrifice for the common good. Great Britain really gave his t-ball hardness an advantage that they urgently needed while playing in the toughest league in America.

“Well, mostly at the moment, I only felt for Lamont. We feel that all the time. We don't have that much time and he was so incredible one winner and one leader and it is like being able to play so much.” Pope said on February 11th after Great Britain had Tennessee 75-64 in Lexington.

Butler would end the season, but limited his best effort. He would end the year with an average of 11.4 points per game and shoot almost 40% of Deep.

It is obviously Butler's defense skills that separate him from other guards. He was attributed to 42 steals last year. If the Moreno Valley, Ca -Born find his groove on the offensive and play Lockdown defense, he could have the chance to play in the NBA.

People like Lamont Butler will be happy to be remembered if they trust Mark Pope and lay the foundation for a great time of Kentucky Basketball.
