A pregnant woman died in a motorcycle accident in South Carolina after driving as a passenger on her husband's bike.

The 28 -year -old Kristin Cheyenne Martinson, who started at Cheyenne, was on the bike on Tuesday, May 6th, around 11:30 a.m. local time against Cleveland 19 News, citing Sheriff's Office (GCSO) from Greenville County.

According to a Gofundme page, the driver was identified as Cheyenne's husband Peter Martinson.

Cheyenne and Peter both were initially taken to the hospital after the crash, but Cheyenne was finally declared dead according to Cleveland 19 News.

Cheyenne was in sixth month pregnant when she died. She and her husband shared a two -year -old son, according to Gofundme.

The circumstances around the cause of the crash were not released by authorities.

The GCSO did not react immediately to the request of the people on Saturday, May 10th.

“With heavy hearts we share the devastating news from a tragic accident in which Peter and his wife Cheyenne are involved,” said the Gofundme page. “They were involved in a motorcycle accident that turned their lives upside down. Cheyenne, who was in the sixth month pregnant, tragically died with their unborn child.”

According to the Fundraising page, Peter is in a critical condition and fights “for his life, but stable”.

The site strives for donations to cover Peter Hospital invoices and household costs as well as “Care for your little son”.
