Saints QB Derek Carr force shoulder injuries to retire

New Orleans – The Quarterback from New Orleans Saints, Derek Carr, is retiring, the team said on Saturday.

The team said Carr had a Labralriss and degenerative rotator cuff damage on his right -wing shoulder.

“After reflection on prayer and in discussion with [his wife,] Heather, I decided to withdraw from the National Football League, “said Carr in a statement published by the team.” We have been blessed incredibly for more than 11 years and we are grateful forever and humble about this experience. It is difficult to find the right words to express our thanks to all teammates, trainers, management, possession, team officials and especially the fans who have made this trip so special. The world means that the world means to us. “

Carr's retirement takes place after the saints have moved in the quarterback Tyler Shough with their second round this year.
