LIVELY sued Baldoni in December for alleged sexual harassment and a smiling -off smear campaign. The actor was in January and accused Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for defamation and extortion.

Baldoni also claimed that Lively used her friendship with Swift and put him under pressure to accept the actor's descriptions. In the complaint, Baldoni claimed that Swift “began to praise LIVELY's script. Baldoni understood the subtext: he had to keep Lively's direction”.
