Two dead, several injured in the Largo crash in Ridge Road and Orangeview Drive

Largo, FL – On Saturday, May 10, 2025, officials from the Largo Police Department reacted to double death traffic at the intersection of Orangeview Drive and Ridge Road at around 1:45 p.m.

According to preliminary information, a Dodge Durango collided with a Kia soul to the north towards the south, who tried a left -wing bend. The crash led to the death of two people and had several others taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The investigators have said that alcohol does not seem to be a factor for the crash.

The Ridge Road between Ulmerton Road and 8th Avenue SW will be closed on Saturday afternoon. The authorities advise the public to avoid the area and to search for alternative routes during the examination.

The identity of the deceased is held back until the next relatives are notified.

The traffic unit of the Largo Police Department leads the investigation.
