Tigers' well-being comeback story, which was crushed by brutal but familiar injury messages

For the most part, things for the Detroit Tigers have been extremely good to start the season. They have already started to build Al Central on their leadership and were one of the best teams in the entire league in the first quarter of the season. A big reason why the tigers have developed so well is a newly stabilized rotation thanks to the successful return of Casey Mize.

The former No. 1 election in the MLB design 2018 has so far been a revelation this season. Due to his first seven starts, Mize has an ERA of 2.53, 3.93 FIP and 1.3 RWAR and its origin as well as the continuing brilliance of Tarik Skubal, Reese Olson and Jack Flaherty have made Detroit extremely difficult, even if they can keep their line -up in check.

Unfortunately, a familiar problem hit Mize and the tigers will be without him for a while.

On Saturday it became known that Mize is put on the injured list of a thigh injury, with Chase Lee being called back to take his place on the squad.

Tiger put Casey Mize on the injured list with the same injury, which cost him a large part in the 2024 season

The good news is that the manager Aj Hink did everything to say that this colonel -strain mise is considered mild. However, it is difficult to be too excited when Mize only missed a third of the season on the same leg last season.

As for Lee, he played well at the end of April and early May in a small size of appearances for Detroit. With an ERA of 1.42 in six appearances and the ability to miss bats, he was a fairly easy decision to call up again without carrying out too many roster machines. If the bullpen gets a thrust, it is little comfort when a man is injured like Mize, but there is at least a small silver strip.

Given the fact of how much time Mize has lost since the creation of injuries, it is really unfortunate that its strong start in 2025 is interrupted here. The fans only have to hope that Hinken will tell the truth about the seriousness of the injury. Otherwise everyone could wait a while to see Mize in action again.
