Frazeee man who shot and killed a man in a caravan park was condemned

Fraze, MN (KDLM) – A man who shot and killed a person in a caravan park in Frazee was condemned.

The 32-year-old Willis McDonald von Frazee was sentenced to two months in the Becker County prison and two years of probation after a jury acquired him because of manslaughter, but he was guilty of knowingly shot and did not help what led to the victim's death.

According to the Becker County, McDonald shot 31-year-old Arlan Bergstrom Jr. on August 10, 2024, after Bergstrom beat McDonald's car window.

McDonald told the MP that he had feared for his life and grabbed his pistol. Bergstrom then also fired and killed Mount current after the weapon and McDonald. McDonald left the scene when a witness was called 911 in his car before the incident. The witness confirmed McDonald's story and said that the two men do not know each other before the incident.

The MPs say that McDonald had no permission for the firearm for which he received a simultaneous punishment.
