NBA playoffs: Celtics overwhelm Knicks with a dominant 22-point victory to bring series to 1-2

Something had to give. After two very unlikely 20-point comeback victories in Boston last week, the New York Knicks fell on the Boston Celtics in the NBA playoffs on Saturday.

Boston rose early again and went up to 25 points in the first half. This time the Celtics were able to capture this tour and stand up to achieve a 115-93 victory.

The Celtics seemed to learn from their mistakes in the two previous games and again tried with three pointers and rebounds. Boston went 12-against-19-three-day in the first half and scored 25 points as a man in the first half.

The Celtics continued to build and stretched their lead to 30 points in the third quarter. But if we have learned something in the previous NBA playoffs from 2025, it does not apply. New York started to be deficit in the fourth quarter and gave up within 20 points, but Boston kept strong. The energy in the Madison Square Garden when the Celtics made a win of 115-93.

It was a great game for Payton Pritchard, the Boston with 23 points, including five three-point pointers, led by the bank for the Celtics. Jayson Tatum also got five threes and ended with 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

In the meantime, Jalen Brunson's 27-point performance and the 21-point double double-double double-dub from Karl-Anthony were not enough to turn the tides for the Knicks.

In the future, the Knicks could get into further difficulties after a potential finger injury in the cities. The Knicks Center seemed to injure the finger in the second quarter halfway after he had put a jump shot under pressure. The cities met and one, but grabbed his (already wrapped) finger while visibly distorting.

Despite the injury, the cities remained in the game, but occasionally doubled in pain. It is unclear to what extent the injury is or whether the cities will have to miss in the future.
