Elk Grove investigator believes that speed and alcohol were a factor for an accident with a vehicle in which a 23-year-old driver was killed in Elk Grove on Saturday morning, the police said.

The Elk Grove police authority reacted to the Elk Grove Boulevard between McKenna Drive and Backer Rank Road at around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The investigators said that the same vehicle was in an unknown collision with another vehicle at the intersection of the Elk Grove Boulevard and the Fire Poppy Road, just a few minutes before the crash.
