Moulin Rouge! Sparkle at Broadway meetings

Ben Cameron's long-time, award-winning music theater variety series Broadway Sessions returned with actors from Moulin Rouge last month, now at Al Hirschfeld Theater on Broadway.

The performers included: Jeigh Madjus (“never enough”), Donnie Hammond (“Stay with me”), Heather Makalani (“Dead Girl Walking”), Nick Martinez (“Maybe”), Patrick Clanton (“I didn't plan it”), Ricardo Zayas (“never too much”)). Bryan Wang (“i'll be here”), Brandon Stonestreet (“A Case of You”), Cole Joseph Wachman (“It's not for me to say”), Melissa Hunter McCann (“Oops! I Did It Again”), and Nicci Claspell (“The Life of the Party”) with Comers Julian Gwin (“The Lady Must Be Mad”) and Leah Chechelnitsky (“Dead Mama”).

Twice a month, Broadway Sessions welcomes a new Broadway line -up/ singer to play games with the audience, to run ridiculous interviews, to open and to celebrate everything the Broadway is! This is not the cabaret of your large adades.

The Broadway meetings will play twice a month on Thursday evening in the Green Room 42 after Broadway has dropped. The seats start at 9:15 p.m. with showtime at 10 p.m. All seats cost only 22 US dollars, including a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS. The participants also receive a voucher of 10 US dollars for food/ drink. There is no minimum. Natches and walk-ins are welcome.
