Man who was killed in Copiage when crashing on the Montauk Highway, says the police, says the police

A team man was killed and two more injured on Saturday morning with two cars on the Montauk Highway in Copizing, said the Suffolk County police.

Harold Dessers, 79, drove a Chevrolet Impala West on the Montauk Highway in 2010, when he went into the opposite track and at 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of the Highway with the South Emerson Avenue 2013, the police from Suffolk said in a press release.

Decter was brought to the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was declared dead, the press release says.

The 66-year-old driver of the Ford and her 42-year-old passenger were also brought to the same hospital to treat minor injuries, the Suffolk police said. The agency identified them as a resident of West Babylon.

The crash closed the Montauk Highway between the Wilson Avenue and the Dawes Avenue until shortly after noon on Saturday, the police said.

The Suffolk police said the examination of the crash has not yet been completed and everyone with information is asked to call the first squad under 631-854-8152.
