Celtics injury report: Jaylen Brown was improved for game 5 against Magic Tuesday

The Celtics will be sent for the third game in a row on Tuesday evening, but Jaylen Brown will be available against magic for their game 5. Boston increased the all-star wing from an hour before the tip from questionnaires. Brown continues to deal with a posterior problem with the right knee that has held him in the last three games in the injury report. Jrue Holiday (tense knee tendon) remains for the third game in a row.

Brown has been hindered by a bone bone casting in the knee since March, which forced him to miss a handful of games to end the season. At the beginning of this month he received a pain reliever injection and was removed from the injury report for the first two games of the playoffs. Although Brown did not play 100 percent during the series, he achieved a strong total number for Boston, which achieved an average of 23 points and eight rebounds and achieved an average of 36.8 minutes per game. In game 4 he posted a double double to give Boston a 3-1 lead and the opportunity for a closeout victory in TD Garden in game 5.

“This was a big victory on the street in a difficult physical environment with a team that played well, and the team endeavored to get us out,” said Brown on Sunday. “So there was a big win this evening. We have the peace and gather the troops and return in Boston on our own floor.”

Jayson Tatum continues to play a bone bleeding in his right wrist, but he remained from the injury report for the second game in a row.

“It is whatever,” said Tatum about the injury. “I know what to do. My team knows how serious it is, but it is this time of year. We all sacrifice our body and do things through things. They are the playoffs. I doubt that someone feels 100%, but they step on this floor, do what they can do, give everything.

The Celtics taps on Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. in a game in NBATV and NBC Sports Boston against magic at 8:30 p.m.
