Authorities that react to Pace -Bus crash in Wheaton, Illinois near the East Loop Road and the Butterfield Road

Wheaton, sick, (WLS) – The authorities react to a suburb in West suburb on Tuesday evening that affects a PACE bus.

Chopper 7 was over in the East Loop and Butterfield Roads in Wheaton around 6.15 p.m.

Several vehicles seem to be involved in the crash that took place near the Danada Square shopping center.

A spokesman at Tempo said that preliminary reports indicate that the bus turned left onto the East Loop Drive when another vehicle drove in the other direction, drove a red light and hit the bus.

The bus operator and two passengers were checked out at the crime scene, said the spokesman.

It is unclear how many people were on the bus at the time of crash.

The Pace Bus landed in a grass area on the street.

According to the Wheaton officials, the Butterfield Road from Leask Road to Naperville Road and the East Loop Road are closed from the Naperville Road to Butterfield Road.

The authorities did not provide further information immediately.
