Match Recap, Pres. by Provident Bank: Red Bulls Rout Galaxy, scored 7 goals in the Sports Illustrated Stadium

On Saturday evening, the New York Red Bulls moved the rache game for the 2024 MLS Cup in the revenge game for the 2024 MLS Cup the Los Angeles Galaxy (7-0) in the Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Emil Forsberg and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored both goals, with Forsberg also adding two templates.

Cameron Harper, Dennis Gjengaar and his own goal rounded off the goals for New York.

The Red Bulls opened the goal in the seventh minute when Daniel Edelman won the ball in midfield and played in striker Choupo-Moting, who was a give with Forsberg and Choupo-Moting and went into the lower left corner with the shot of choupo-moting.

New York added a second in the 16th minute when Omar Valencia served a ball behind La Galaxy's backline in the way of Forsberg, which fired a shot into the left side of the network.

Valencia was the first defender in the history of Red Bulls, who recorded at least five templates with the club in his first 10 games.

Carlos Coronel recorded his fifth edition of the season and the 40th of his MLS career. His five Shutouts took second place in MLS.

The Red Bulls have achieved 97 Shutouts at Sports Illustrated Stadium since 2010, which is the most in MLS during this time.
