Police officers called death threats to the world of World Series winner Lance McCullers Jr.

The Houston Astros have involved the police after hideous death threats to the children of the team of the team, Lance McCuller Jr.

After the Astros right-handed man, a two-time winner of the World Series, seven runs from a 10-run Inning against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday evening allowed a second game due to injuries.

McCullers, 31, and Ms. Kara have two young daughters together.

“I understand that people are very passionate and love people who love Astros and love sports, but threatens to find my children and murder them, is a bit difficult to deal with it,” said McCullers after the game with which his team lost 13: 9.

“As a father, many, many threats have presented me over the years, and I think that in fact, one or two people from other topics in dealing with baseball for such things actually had to go into prison.

The game on Saturday evening was McCullers' second in almost three years after serious injury issues

Joe Espada, the Astros Manager, added: “There are people who threaten his life and life of his children because of his performance.

“It is very unfortunate that we have to deal with it. After all, he did the fact for his team, the fact that we have to talk about it in my office … I also have children and it really drives me crazy that we have to deal with it. Very, very sad. '

McCullers only started his second start for the Astros since game 3 of the 2022 World Series.

A number of right arm problems have derailed his career since that night and his return to the team this year has been seen as a great success story.

'He no longer set up in 2 1/2 years. We have to give some time, okay? 'Said Espada.

'That can't happen. I am really upset that this has happened athletes and … you know we try our best. Everyone is trying our best. But the fact that I have to go to my office and deal with it? Light up. We are better than that. '

McCullers started the home game against the Reds, but was pulled in the first inn, after he had approved seven runs with three goals and three walks on 36 playgrounds.

McCullers was an Astros player in Houston for the duration of his baseball career

McCullers spent his career at the Astros and was part of the World Series Championship teams in 2017 and 2022.

He missed all seasons 2023 and 2024 for arm problems and returned to the host Chicago White Sox last Sunday.

“Obviously they want to attract well, but I think to bring their teammates to this place is more from the trip,” added McCullers.

“I didn't feel super comfortable with my parking spaces in the last two games. I don't know if it is just free time. I don't feel nervous, but maybe I just don't move as I am used to moving.

“You know, you fail on a very large stage, many eyes and there are nowhere to hide. At the end of the day I just want to do my job.

“I just want to be a good jug for the Astros. And I think I'll get there. '
