Netflix 'underestimated crime thriller should be a “subtle masterpiece” that shows one of our greatest actors.

Repil has been under the radar since its exclusive publication on the platform in 2023, but it seems to have surprisingly surpassed that the audience was expected in every respect.

While it is difficult to stand out in the enormous selection of Netflix, 'reptile' was able to briefly claim a place under the most watched films during the debut week.

When the spectators exhaust the latest hits and seek fresh entertainment, reptile appears as a worthy candidate for rediscovery. The conspiracy unfolds with a gruesome murder of a young real estate agent who leads an experienced detective on a journey after peeling of deception, not only in this case, but also in his personal life.

The excellent ensemble with Benicio del Toro, Alicia Silverstone, Michael Pitt and Justin Timberlake is bobbing the film of the film. Two years after the publication, 'reptile' shines as an underestimated treasure for Netflix fans, reports Surrey Live.

Although critics gave him different ratings, it gradually cultivated a fan base that it recommends fervently – a feeling that was repeated by a rotting tomato user who was characterized by a procedure: “exceeded my expectations in every respect.”

Even critics of certain aspects of the film agree that del Toro's performance makes it a must, wrote with one: “Benicio del Toro continues to remind us why he is a cool customer and among our greatest actors.”

Another fan raved: “(Benicios character) has been my favorite cop COP for a long time.” While someone else said: “Repil has several holes in the plot, but such a pleasure to watch Benicio del Toro.”

One viewer came to the conclusion: “(the film is) endlessly fascinating. Benicio del Toro gives a damn good performance here.”
