Two of the sources also confirm that ownership of the plane is transferred to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation as soon as the president ends his second term.

According to one of the sources, the agreement will be met according to the US and international laws in compliance with the ethics rules. This officer said it would take some time for the plane to be delivered to Trump, but the president will discuss the agreement during his visit to Qatar this week.

Another of the sources said the idea of ​​giving Trump to this specific aircraft has been discussed for some times and when the formal offer has recently been “happily accepted”.

During his time in Qatar, Trump is expected to give a speech and then speak to American troops on the Al Udeid Air Base, according to two US officials.

This is the second time that Trump decided to visit Saudi Arabia for his first foreign trip. He chose the same nation as his first stop in 2017 during his first term.
