Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal Live: Premier League Score, Team News & Updates

Mikel Merino scored and was then sent when Arsenal scored in an entertaining game in Anfield with two goals with the Premier League Champions Liverpool.

There was a solemn atmosphere when Liverpool continued to celebrate its title and scored two goals in two minutes.

They achieved the first in the 20th minute when Arsenal's defense was eliminated after a quick throw -in and Andy Robertson's Cross from Cody Gakpo became on the way.

The Reds doubled their lead a minute later when Dominik Szoboszlai chased a forward pass and sliding the ball into an empty network to Luis Diaz.

Arsenal looked like they were going to be a serious defeat, but gathered after the break.

Gabriel Martinelli drove into a cross from Leandro Trossard in the 47th minute to give them a lifeline to score in the area after Alisson entered a shot by Martin Odegaard in the crosshar.

Merino was then sent for a second bookable offensive when he fell into a duel on the edge of the Arsenal Criminal Code after losing property – and the visitors played the last 10 minutes that a man had put down.

It was Trent Alexander-Arnold's first appearance for Liverpool since he announced that he would leave at the end of the season and he was booed by supporters when he arrived as a replacement.

He almost converted these boos to cheer when his free kick on the red card for Merino rolled together at the position.

At the finish there was a drama when Robertson excluded a goal. The defender found the net after goalkeeper David Raya Virgil van Dijk's header parried-but there was a foul from Ibrahima Konate on Myles Lewis-Skelly.

The result leaves Liverpool 15 points in front of the second-placed Arsenal, who undertakes control over her own fate to secure the Champions League football next season.
