Alabama defeated Georgia 9-3

Alabama won 9: 3, evening the series in a game that started on Friday and ended on Sunday due to weather.

Georgia recorded exactly where they stopped in game 1 to start this game and scored two runs in the top of the first with an RBI Groundout by Robbie Burnett and an RBI single from Tre Phelps. Alabama immediately reacted in the end of the first and plated four runs, which was highlighted by a monster Homerun by Justin LeBron.

Alabama added two more runs in the fourth, with a two-run Homerun by Bryce Fowler achieving 6-2 by Bryce Fowler.

The game was delayed in fifth place due to the weather. Most of the game was played in the rain up to this point, but the rain increased, which gave the referees no other option than stopping the game. After a rainy day on Saturday, the second game on Sunday at 11 a.m. was finally able to start the game again.

Ryan Black hit a victim fly to the top of the seventh and brought the bulldog from the lead within three runs. The Field by Alabama Center Richie Bonomolo Jr. crushed a Homer with three runs on the bottom of eighth place and extended the Alabama lead to 9-3.

With this victory, Alabama forces a rubber game. Georgia will have Leighton Finley on the hill if you try to take the series in Tuscaloosa. Game three will be a seven-in-in competition.
