Yankees' Marcus Strom

West Sacramento, California – Ryan Yarbrough began one day because the Yankees' rotation depths was packed, the club revealed that Marcus electricity would not continue as hoped.

Roman threw a live meeting in Tampa on Friday and still felt uncomfortable, said Aaron Boone on Sunday.

The manager was not yet sure of the next step and whether the rights were closed. However, there are concerns that a knee problem has remained.

“He has a lot of treatments and such, and he simply cannot overcome this last hump to really allow him to reach the next level on the hill,” said Boone before ending a series with the A's in Sutter Health Park. “We will try to continue to move our arms and make sure that we get it out of it.”

The right last was waiting a month ago – on April 11 – for the injured list of inflammation of the left knee. He continued to threw afterwards, but was originally limited to playing catch and not returning to a hill because of the knee.

He built up and is back to the hill work, but the knee continues to hinder him.

In Strom's three starts of the five runs of two brutal night in a rainy, miserable defeat against the Giants, he set up a 11.57-e-. Boone said his knee, who contributed to his difficult start of the season, was “definitely possible”.

“Certainly his last start, I think he just couldn't really step on this front as they need it,” said Boone. “I'm talking about these boys who are like racing cars – a small thing can influence the last level of command or the last level of additional things you need.

“Here, too, we will continue to try to bring it to where we need.”

The Yankees could have used electricity after they had lost Gerrit Cole for the season and Luis Gil for months. Carlos Carrasco was ineffective up to the DFA'D. Yarbrough received the start on Sunday, at least temporarily as the fifth starter.

Boone said it was possible that the left-handed and the season began as multi-fur help and recently reached a point, May 3, when he arrived four innerings and had thrown 64 parking spaces.

“He is being stretched out more and more,” said Boone before the game. “Not all over the entire level, but obviously he can give us several innings.”
