Trump officers have created confrontation who led to the arrest of the Newark mayor | US immigration

Officials of the Trump Administration Homeland Security were responsible for the beginning of the confrontation on Friday in an immigration prison in New Jersey, which led to the arrest of the mayor of Newark and the threat to the detention of three members of the congress, the representatives said on Sunday about the state of CNN.

The members of the Democratic Congress, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Lamonica Mciver and Rob Menendez – all of New Jersey – visited the detention center for immigration and customs authorities (ICE), which was known as Delaney Hall, to inspect the facility. When they were waiting to enter the Delaney Hall, Newark's mayor Ras Baraka arrived – and when he left the property, he was arrested by ICE officials outside, in which he accused of entering them, which led to an excitement at the entrance to the prison.

There she obviously pushed and pushed between the federal immigration officers and the members of the congress, who blamed Watson Coleman, Mciver and Menendez to the immigration officer.

With regard to the state of CNN, the congress members said that immigration officers had enough opportunity to decalate the situation before someone called masked agents and proven to arrest Baraka.

“You created this confrontation, you created this chaos,” said Mciver.

Since the ordeal on Friday in the Delaney Hall, officials have accused the home protection for congress members to stage a “bizarre political stunt” and at the same time accuse Mciver on site.

Mciver rejected these allegations.

“To be honest, I don't know how to be bodyslam,” said Mciver. “There is no video that supports me, someone.

“We were just there to do our job – there for a supervisory visit.”

For their part, officials have threatened to arrest the three congress members in connection with the excitement on Friday in the Delaney Hall. Watson Coleman announced CNN on Sunday that these threats from the “determination of the Trump government to take into account people in this country”.

The establishment of Delaney Hall was recently reopened by ICE because the agency further expands its detention network in order to support the efforts of the Trump management, mass shifts. The plant operator says he has the ability to capture 1,000 people.

The Delaney Hall belongs to the Geo Group, a massive private prison company with ice facilities in the USA. The Trump administration in February gave the Geo Group a 15-year contract worth 1 billion USD for the operation of Delaney Hall.

However, the new contract takes place under legal challenges for the ice cream in New Jersey. The city government of Newark recently filed a lawsuit against the Geo Group, in which it was claimed that the company did not have the correct permits for the operation of the facility.

There is also a separate legal dispute that plays in a federal state court in connection with private immigration in the state. In 2021, the governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, signed a law that dominated immigration in the state. Another private prison company, Corecivic, which heads the state's only other immigration prison, sued the state government of New Jersey.

Corecivic received support from the Biden administration in her complaint, and a federal judge decided in favor of the company. The state questioned the federal judge's decision, and a federal state court recently heard arguments in the case.
