Cm commands examined in the ETEA test scandal

Peshawar: Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has alleged irregularities in the screening test to hire school teachers who were carried out by the Education Test and Evaluation Authority (ETEA) and instructed the general secretary to initiate an investigation into the matter.

According to an official handout, a formal letter from the secretariat of the Prime Minister was sent to the Secretary General in this regard. The Prime Minister commented concerns about reports about misconduct and a possible paper leak during the Etea screening test on May 10th in Bannu.

The first reports indicated that several people in a private guest house owned the test paper, the bladder leaves, laptops and scan machines were arrested while the test was still in progress. The incident raised serious questions about the integrity and monitoring of the test system.

In the letter it was found that the prime minister described the alleged irregularities as a serious violation of earnings and transparency, and indicated a thorough and timely examination. He indicated that a high -ranking civil servant or a group of civil servants to carry out a detailed examination that identifies those responsible and that disciplinary measures against those involved are recommended.

The Prime Minister said that ETEA is currently taking exams in the province to recruit thousands of teachers, and every form of misconduct would not only undermine the future of the candidates, but also public trust in the system.

He indicated that the examination not only focuses on the immediate facts of the case, but also examines potential weaknesses in the operational framework of ETEA. Legal and administrative measures should be recommended against a person or an institution that is found guilty for misconduct or negligence.

In addition, the secretary for primary and secondary school formation was instructed to check the examination agreements in all districts, to ensure effective monitoring of the test process and to take the necessary steps to improve the coordination between local administrations and ETEA employees. The Prime Minister applied for a comprehensive report on the incident within 15 days.

During the ETEA test for the recruitment of primary school teachers, a large scandal was excavated when suspects were caught on Red hands who allegedly solve the paper for candidates in a Hujra.

The deputy commissioner Allah Nawaz confirmed that a group who was responsible for the preparation of ETEA papers and held them responsible for candidates within the exam centers.

He revealed further details that 10 suspects were indeed caught in the solution and transmission of the questionnaires via mobile phones and other means.

A case was registered in accordance with sections 419 and 420 at the Mirakhel police station on the complaint of the responsible center and the ETEA examination officer. The district administration has informed the ETEA authorities about further measures.

In the meantime, a provincial minister has been under fire after the leaked ETEA papers appeared on social media. The cutlery, which were spread in the social media, showed that photos that allegedly showed people who illegally solve the ETEA test within the Hujra (male guest house) by Khyber Pakhtunkhwo, Pakhtoon Yar Khan.
