Beriedir publish “burnout” video

After the publication of border areas via Rockshots Records, the Italian progressive metal act Beriedir reveals the official music video for “burnout”, the emotional heart of the album.

Musically and lyrically, “Burnout” captures the essence of the plate. A song about mental exhaustion, the crushed weight of the self -imposed pressure and the relentless cycle of overexertion have combined “burnout” the technical complexity with emotional immediacy. The route begins with hammering rhythmic patterns and aggressive riffs before collapsing into a fragile, almost sobbing break, which culminated in a melodic-inspired finale of the overwhelming intensity.

“We fill the oven all the time, while everything is consumed. Write the side to the side until something breaks. The silence immediately falls how the sounds in the forest is present when a predator is present. But the only threat to us, in the loneliness of sleepless nights we are ourselves. The cycle never stops: Our mind becomes blurred.

The band comments: “Burnout” is a vocal and instrumental challenge in every respect. It is the most representative track of “Liminal Spaces”, in which every musical choice reflects the content of the texts. It is difficult to remain emotionally untouched when playing. “

The official music video, which was once again staged by Luca Rapuzzi, visually increases the excitement and vulnerability expressed in the track. With strong and impressive images, Rapuzzi acquires the inner conflict of the song and the emotional dissolution of the song to life and increases “burnout” as a defining statement of the album.

With border areas, Beriedir has a brave step from her Power Metal roots to hug a progressive, melancholic and urgent sound. The album examines trauma, nostalgia, longing and emotional fragmentation and offers a hearing experience that is deeply in the navigating dark and complex emotional conditions.

The stylistic shift of the band is both natural and deliberately, shaped by years of personal growth and sound research. As a front man and primary songwriter, explains Stefano Nusperli, everything began with a USB drive full of music of bands such as Vision Divine, Dream Theater, Dark Shorquility and Children of Bodom – a discovery that triggered the initial flame from Beridener from and ultimately led to Liminal rooms.

With a more collaborative approach and a new focus on progressive and alternative metal, Beriedir's sound draws comparisons with pain of redemption, Leprous, Katatonia, Gojira, Trivium and dark calm. The album was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni in the Domination Studio to ensure a sound depth that fits his lyrical weight
