Mets use four runs to secure the series victory against Cubs (highlights)

The New York Mets (26-15) ended their series against the Chicago Cubs (23-18) with a 6-2 victory on Sunday afternoon on the Citi Field with a eighth inn of four runs to break up a tight game and claim the rubber game.

Griffin Canning exhibited a strong excursion on his birthday and limited the CUBs to just one run with two goals over six in ours while he was five. His lonely flaw came in the sixth when the former prospectus Pete Pete Crow-Armstrong connected the game with a solo homer. But Mark Vientos immediately reacted in the lower half with its own solo explosion and gave the METs the lead.

The game was briefly tied in the seventh after a Leadoff walk led to an RBI double of Nico Hoerner, but the Mets Bullpen recorded. Ryne Stanek threw a goalless eighth and put the stage so that the crime broke out.

Francisco Lindor started the crucial eighth inning with a solo homerun, and Pete Alonso doubled before scored by Viientos of the day on the second RBI. Brandon Dego then finished the rally with a double shot to the right.

The Mets's bullpen sealed the victory, and Edwin Díaz threw his second 1-2-3 ninth place.

Luis Torrens opened the rating with an RBI triple in the third, but left later after he was hit by a foulball. Francisco Alvarez entered and collected two hits.
