Pacers press Cavs in NBA playoffs to even pull thunder with nuggets

The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-109 to take a 3-1-WURBERGAGE for their NBA Playoff series on Sunday when Oklahoma City Denver will suspend two games each.

Pascal Siakam scored 21 points to lead seven Pacers players in two characters when Indiana pushed the top seeds of Eastern Conference Cleveland to the brink of elimination in her best-of-Seven conference semi-final.

In Denver there was no such offensive fireworks, in which Oklahoma City collapsed the comeback of the Nuggets in the second half in order to achieve a coarse-grained victory of 92-87 in a game in which both teams had difficulty getting shots to fall.

In Cleveland, the Pacers already had the game well in their hands, with an 80-39 half-time lead when the Cavs announced that Star Donovan Mitchell dubbed the second half with an injury to the left ankle.

Mitchell, who had two 40-point games behind him, scored 12 points in the first half, but was clearly damaged when he tested his ankle before the start of the second half.

His loss would be a physical bladder for a team in Cleveland, in the hope of warding off the elimination if you organize the fifth game on Tuesday.

Trainer Kenny Atkinson said Mitchell would have an MRI scan on Monday and he “has no idea” if Mitchell were available for game five.

Despite the dominance of the Pacers, there was no shortage of emotions.

Indiana Reserve Bennedict Mathurin was expelled in the first quarter with 4:32 to beat De'andre Hunter's chest.

Hunter received a technical foul to respond with a two -handed thrust that Mathurin spread, while Indiana's Myles gymnast received a technical warning in the battle.

After a quarter 38-23, the Pacers stacked in the second period, a 17: 0 value that was increased to 78: 37 on the way to an 80-39 half-time lead.

Cleveland only made eight baskets in the first half, while the Pacers made an offensive display.

A gymnast basket on the edge, from a no-look pass from Tyrese Haliburton, left the Gainbridge Fieldhouse audience in frenzy.

The Pacers were also from the depths and made 12 of their 15 three-point pointers in the first half.

“This is a group that plays better through adversity,” said Turner about the back rash of the Pacers of their defeat.

“We were beaten in the last game in our mouth, we had a damn good answer. The starter gave the tone and the bank took up the rest of the game.”

Turner and Obi Toppin added 20 points for Indiana and Haliburton with 11. Darius Garland led Cleveland's goal with 21 points, but the Cavaliers gave 22 sales that led to 35 Pacers points.

In Denver, Shai Gilgeous-Aalexander scored 25 points with six rebounds and six assists to lead Oklahoma City, but the thunder, which was connected to only 31 of 87 shots from the field-slightly better than the 25-to-face 80 success rate of the Nuggets.

NBA The most valuable player Nikola Jokic scored 27 points and achieved 13 rebounds for Denver, who withdrawn a dark start and achieved a lead of 53-52 on a three pointer from Aaron Gordon in the middle of the third quarter.

Jamal Murray and Christian Braun each scored 17 points and Gordon added 15 when Denver descended the lead over eight points at the beginning of the fourth.

But the nuggets could not benefit less than 48 hours after an overtime expiry of overtime on Friday in the third game.

Oklahoma City achieved the lead on Cason Wallace's three-pointer with 8:35 to play it to the end.

“We got stops, kept them 18 points in the fourth quarter,” said Gilgeous-Alexander. “You obviously got out of the way after half -time, jumped on us, but the defensive end is always for us … We have it back on the track and we could get a W.”

After he avoided falling into a 3-1 hole and the fifth guest performance five on Tuesday.

“I thought tired legs out there of both teams,” said Nuggets coach David Adelman. “Give your team credit in a really disgusting basketball game, these boys who played games, have enough games to push them over the edge and win the game.”
