Donovan Mitchell (ankle) is out early to have MRI on Monday

Indianapolis-the star of Cleveland Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell, missed the second half of the team of 129-109 of the team in game 4 on Sunday evening due to an left ankle injury.

Cavs trainer Kenny Atkinson said Mitchell would receive an MRI on Monday. He had “no idea” about Mitchell's availability for game 5 on Tuesday.

After Mitchell came out on the pitch at half -time to warm up at half -time, he was uncomfortable in his left ankle and held an attempt to shoot in the middle and leaned to the waist before the team's training staff came to the court to check it.

He returned to the changing room before the third quarter started and did not start the second half with the team on the floor. He was to be returned as doubtful, but never made it back to the court.

Mitchell scored 12 points in the first half of 11 shootings in 20 minutes (1 out of 5 of 3). Cleveland remained 80-39 at halftime.

Mitchell had recorded consecutive 40-point games that the first Cavs players have been doing in successive playoff games since LeBron James.
