The Line Backer from Miami, Adarius Hayes, injured in car accident, in which two children were killed

The Line Backer from Miami Hurricanes, Adarius Hayes, was one of the injuries in an accident with two cars, in which two children were dead and several other people needed to stay hospital, the police said on Sunday.

The crash occurred on Saturday in Hayes' hometown Largo, Florida, near Tampa. A 10-year-old and a 4-year-old died in the crash, the police said.

The Hurricanes had no immediate comment on the condition of Hayes. The police said their investigation was on and that alcohol was not regarded as a factor for the crash.

Hayes played in 12 games as a real newcomer for Miami last season, mainly in special teams. He was a four-star recruit that came from Largo High, and selected Miami after arousing interest from Florida, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Largo is located about 20 miles east of Tampa and about 15 miles north of St. Petersburg on the Golf coast of Florida.
