Kouassi achieves and supports the 3-2 victory in Washington Spirit against Chicago Stars

Rosemonde Kouassi had an assist and the Washington Spirit beat the Chicago Stars 3-2 on Saturday in the National Women's Soccer League.

Gift Monday scored the winner goal when she scored Kouassi's passport in the 80th minute.

Elsewhere in the NWSL, the Portland Thorns received a late punishment for a 1-1 draw with the San Diego wave; And the courage North Carolina 1-1 with the Orlando Pride.

The spirit took over the lead in the Seatgeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, when Chicagos Ally Schlegel transformed her own network from Kouassi in the 31st minute. The stars replied five minutes later with Julia Grosso's Equalizer.
