Three seizures of 3 million GBP accused of 3 million pounds in NCA examinations of £ 3 million

Three men were accused of smuggling millions of pounds from Great Britain in trucks as part of an examination of a National Crime Agency (NCA).

Uzbekistan citizens Azizillo Ugli Azamov, 20, Khalilulullokh Omonillaev (22) and Mukhammadamine Abdurakhmonov (20), all from London, appeared on May 8th at the Uxbridge Magistrates' Court for money laundering.

A NCA examination was initiated on June 21, 2024 after Border Force confiscated £ 950,000 from a vehicle at the Eurotunnel Terminal in Folkestone.

The money was hidden in 13 boxes of washing powder.

A second vehicle was stopped in Harwich port two weeks later, on July 7, 2024, and the officials of the border of the border confiscated over Scottish banknotes over one million pounds.

On May 7, 2025, the NCA officials fell through two properties in West London and confiscated cash of almost 500,000 GBP as well as cash emotional machines and vacuum seal.

Paul Orchard, Senior Investigating Officer from NCA, said:

“Our examination of the attempted export of millions of pounds in cash continues at speed.

“Cash is the elixir of life of severe and organized crimes, and money laundering is an essential service that enables organized criminals to benefit and invest in further crime.”
