Grandmother was shot in Maryland Residence

The life of a beloved mother was canceled after she was shot in her home.

The police said she received a call on Saturday afternoon at 2:15 p.m. because of the discovery of a woman with several gunshot wounds in the house.

A neighbor says Fox 5 that they will lead several shots early on Saturday morning.

The family identified the victim as a 54-year-old Leslie Davis.

Davis' daughters Billie and April put their four children in Leslies house to stay with her grandmother.

When the daughters could not contact Leslie on Saturday afternoon, they went home to their home.

The young children were at home intact.

“We name her name and then the children were like no, Grandma was over there. She was between her bed and the window and she was dead. She was shot,” said Billie.

Leslie was a reverend, a caring mother and grandmother who, according to her family, loved and loved her dog.

What we don't know:

The police did not identify any suspects at this point.

The victim's family says that Davis was not the intended goal of the shootout.
