Alcohol may have been a factor for a crash in St. Paul, Minnesota, where a man was killed and another taken to the hospital, the authorities said.

The crash occurred on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the Arlington Avenue West and the Dale Street North, according to the St. Paul police authority.

A frenzied driver in a sedan ran a red light and hit an SUV and pushed it 40 meters, the police said. The driver of the SUV was spoken out of his vehicle and died at the scene. The limousine driver was admitted to the hospital with injuries that were not life -threatening.

“There is indications that alcohol may have played a factor,” said the police.
