Lincoln Square Car Crash leaves 3 injured

Three people were injured when a driver on the Lincoln Square on the northwest side lost control of the car that he drove and against a pole.

The crash occurred in the 4700 block of the North Western Avenue at around 3 a.m. when a 56-year-old man at the wheel of a Buick Lacosse lost and hit the rod, said the Chicago police.

The 56-year-old man suffered no more detailed injuries and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was in a serious state, the police said.

A woman who was in Buick Passenger was brought to the same hospital with head and breast injuries and was in a critical condition, the authorities said. Her age was not immediately known.

A second woman who was a passenger suffered minor injuries and was brought to the St. Francis Hospital Evanston in a fair state, the police said.

No other injuries were reported.

The main inspection unit for accident investigations was the investigation.
