Coroner reports motorcyclists who were identified when the crash is fatal

Wyoming, Ohio (Wxix) – The motorcyclist who was killed in an accident in Wyoming on Sunday evening was identified.

The Coroner's Office of the Hamilton County identified the man as John Shimkowiak (46) from Wyoming.

According to the Wyoming police, Shimkowiak drove on Burns Avenue when the crash took place around 7:22 p.m.

When the police and fire arrived in the area, Shimkowiak was found unconscious, the police said.

Emergency crews began with the HLW and transported the 46-year-old to the Medical Center of the University of Cincinnati, where he was later declared dead.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
