The attempt to fake the windshield leads to a crash. 1 injured

Mccracken County, Ky. (KFVS) – A woman Paducah was injured on Sunday evening, May 11th, in an accident with a vehicle in McCracken County.

The crash occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of the Buchanan Road and the Old Hinkleville Road. This is southeast of the Barkley regional airport.

According to the Sheriff office of the Mccrack County, an investigation of the crash shows that 52-year-old Christopher Hamilton from Padauch tried to build up his windshield while he traveled south on the Old Hinkeleville. And did not see the stop sign at the intersection with Buchanan RD.

The sheriff's office said that the vehicle went off the street, hit a ditch and then hit a tree.

One of Hamiton's passengers, 54-year-old Heather Hamilton, was injured in the crash.

The Sheriff's office said it was taken to a hospital in Paducah with injuries that had not been trained.

The Sheriff's office reports that Christopher Hamilton and his other passenger, 22-year-old Joseph English, also not injured by Paducah.

Members of the Concord Fire Department, Mercy Ems and Jasons towing, helped the Mccrack County Sheriff office.
