Texas will be hotter this week than Death Valley, Sahara desert

A heat wave that comes to Texas this week is expected to break records in several cities.

A high -pressure comb is expected to go into the Lone Star State from Northern Mexico on Tuesday and will remain until Thursday.

During this time, the temperatures in some parts of Texas are higher than some of the hottest places on earth.

The heat wave this week sends the temperatures that rise to the three -digit limits.

Wednesday seems to be the hottest day of the week.

Del Rio in the southwest of Texas is expected to have the highest temperatures.

The National Weather Service expects the temperatures to increase to around 110 degrees on Wednesday. The NWS believe that the temperatures in San Antonio will reach 105 on Wednesday.

FOX 7 Austin meteorologist believe that this will achieve high on Wednesday in Capitol 103.

The Team in Dallas-Fort Worth believes that the temperatures will reach 100 in the mid-week.

Sometimes the temperatures will be hotter than Death Valley, California and Ouadane, Mauritania in the Sahara desert.

Average first 100 degree day

Local perspective:

The warmth of this week will bring 100 degree temperatures much earlier than usual.

As a rule, Austin sees his first 100 degree day on July 8th.

San Antonio usually only reached the triple grausam brand on June 30th.

On average, Dallas-Fort Worth only hit the Century Market on July 1st.
