New research that examine the critical problems of the Horizon scandal

New research work that examines the critical questions of the horizon scandal, the lessons for the ethics and corporate management of the lawyers – both within and outside the scandal itself – and the lessons for a failed criminal justice system were published.

The post-office project, which is one of its team doctors, lawyers, industry experts and a far-reaching consulting committee, has published a report to learn from the scandal.

At the beginning of his research, his declared goals were to understand the ethical problems of the lawyers that the scandal emphasized, as well as those who were in relation to miscarriages in the judiciary. The aim was also to improve the wider criminal justice system and the way – and the judicial system as a whole – could be improved with insights from the scandal and its legal proceedings.

It worked with victims, lawyers and others to develop practical, well-triggered insights into the scandal that could make a difference.

The new report focuses on the experiences of victims of the post office scandal, in which the complex damage to the subpost masters and their families are detailed. It emphasizes the need for tailor -made support to tackle the continuing psychological and social effects of the scandal.
