Eric Sinclair – court proceedings begin after being accused of participation in SU hate crime in October 2024

Salisbury, Md. – The process began on Monday because of one of the 15 students at Salisbury University that were involved in a suspected hate crime.

Eric Sinclair, a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon from SU – Sat test. He was the treasurer of the chapter.

The 21-year-old faced the judge after he had been charged with 2nd degree and false detention. He faces these charges after he was allegedly involved in Kyle Cole on October 15, 2024.

Prosecutors accuse Sinclair and 14 other SU students to lure the adult victim to an apartment outside the campus by using the GrindR dating app and pretending to be 16-year-old.

However, when Cole arrived, Sinclair and others were accused of attacking him – and kicking it, kicking and beating it with a baking pan.

The police believe that the attack on the victim's sexual orientation was due.

The audience looked at the video of the alleged attack. In some places in the video, a suspect said: “You are a threat to society.”

Sinclair seemed to be restless throughout the legal proceedings. But his lawyer Brendan O'Brien remained confident. According to O'Brien, Sinclair only documented the attack and did not take part.

The public prosecutor says that Sinclair was aware of the plans. Cole was attacked as replication of the popular television program “Catch a Predator”, they said.

The attempt will continue on Tuesday, with a judgment anticipated after two days.
