Mobile phone video shows the students who beat teen in the Broward school bus -NBC 6 South Florida

Mobile phone video shows the moment when a student is attacked by two other minors on board a school bus in Broward County. Now the student's mother is extremely concerned and moves on the indictment.

Deysi Gonzalez said to Telemundo 51 that she doesn't sleep and she can't get out of her head where her son was hit in the face.

“What she had done to him was angry, it was terrible because it could have happened worse,” she said in Spanish.

In the video, her son was first hit her nose, then another student hit his body several times. In the meantime, other students have recorded what happened, but nobody intervened.

The incident was overwhelming for Gonzalez and she asked a lawyer for help.

“She is taking the criminal charges against the boys who have beaten up their son because their idea is that it is their actions, but our immediate goal is to draw parents aware of violence in school buses,” said their lawyer Maribel Piza.

Gonzalez 'son got nosebleeds and bruises. He received medical help from Fire Rescue after the bus driver called the police last Thursday. After a few days he developed a blue spot on the side of his head.

Gonzalez 'son is 15 years old and a seventh of the Driftwood Middle School in Hollywood. He recently came from Guatemala, still learned English and has no difficulty, said his mother.

“The two who met him spoke to him all the time in English so that he didn't know what she provoked,” said Piza.

A report by the Davie police says that the problem has taken place in the past few days. One of the students reported that another touched the neck and shoulders again and again and would not stop even after he was asked. After a few minutes he turned and hit him in the face and the blow was returned.

The Broward School Board made an explanation, some of which lasted: “On May 8, 2025, two students physically attacked another student, while he drove home in a school bus as part of an ongoing dispute … The two students responsible for the incident who were responsible for the incident, received the district book of the district for the behavior of the district.”
