Officer Weides, suspicious, who was killed after the exchange of shots on the St. Bridge division

Nashville, Tenn. (WTVF) -A man who is sought because of attempted murder was shot during a shot change with a U -Bahn officer on the Street Bridge division.

According to the police, officer Clayton Lewis was grazed on the leg. The suspect, who was later identified as Tadarius Milan Hunt (29), was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The video shows that Hunt jogged the sidewalk when an officer discovered him and asked him to stop. Hunt continued until he pushed on the other side of the bridge on Lewis.

“You better stop. You can stop better,” said Lewis.

Then the video shows that Hunt showed a weapon and started shooting the officer. The two exchanged shots before Hunt was shot.

Hunt was sought for the shootout at Nashville Rescue Mission on Sunday, which injured a security guard. Rev. Glenn Cranfield with the Nashville Rescue Mission told Newschannel 5 that Hunt had caused problems at the location.

According to the police, the incident began when the guard, Cedrick Wilson, told people in the center to leave one of the public spaces so that the caretaker could clean.

Hunt didn't want to go and started to cause a scene. Wilson warned him that he would call the police if he refused to go. Hunt threatened to shoot Wilson before leaving the building.

“Cedrick was injured in a targeted shootout outside of the facility after a security incident with a guest,” said the mission in a statement. “Cedrick is known for his heart and commitment to the men that we serve every day. Although we cannot always prevent what happens beyond our doors, the safety of our employees and guests is our priority. We are grateful for the ongoing efforts to maintain a safe environment for everyone in our facilities.”

When Wilson ended his working shift, the rescue mission leaders tell us that he was shot into his chest in the parking lot. The police found seven mussels during the examination.

Wilson was operated on for several firing wounds and is expected to survive.

“He is now recovering in the hospital and stays in a good mood,” said the mission in an explanation.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is now examining the shootout with the U -Bahn official.

“This examination remains active and continuous at this point,” said the TBI in a press release. “TBI agents are working on determining the series of events that lead to the shootings, including the collecting of evidence and carrying out interviews. During the entire process, the investigative findings are shared with the Attorney General for his further review and consideration. The TBI acts exclusively as factors.
