Two boys are exposed to capital murder for murder after the man recovered a stolen car

A 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy are confronted with charges for murder in the capital after a man was shot while trying to regain his stolen car in the Southeast Austin.

It happened on May 3 at the intersection of the Ross Road and the Thome Valley Drive around 3:30 a.m.

The police say that the 20-year-old Anthony Salas was also overlooked when he tried to restore his family's stolen car near the del Valle Elementary School.

Last week APD asked the public to identify interests who were captured in surveillance videos that they believed in the break -in of cars in South and East Austin.

The two boys are charged with terrorist threat to the capital murder.

This is Austin's 23rd murder examination of 2025.
